The year 2 students at PHS are starting an inquiry unit on rubbish and recycling. Have a look at Room 6's scrapbook to see how they started their investigation.

Congratulations Miss C on your first post and for using a cool web 2 tool. I love the mixed book. Room 6 I wonder how we will reduce our rubbish waste here at school? Do you remember last year when we had the no rubbish bin day in the playgrounds and it was really tidy outside? Do you think you could set up a recycling station for all our plastic? Do you think you could be in charge of the new recycling bins? I look forward to discovering what you find out in your inquiry.

Thank you for teaching me about rubbish an recycling. I find it so hard that everything in the supermarket comes in packaging - what do you think?
ReplyDeleteWell done Room 6. I can see you are learning lots about recycling. What a lot of rubbish we all create. I wonder where it all goes? I hope you find some new ways to deal with all that waste.

Well done Room 6, you should be proud of doing such a good job at recycling.

Hi Room 6
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you guys looking after the earth. I can 't believe that we make so much rubbish. Thank you for teaching me more about recycling rubbish.

I teach about recycling to my 10-11 year olds. You are getting an early start! I can't wait to see what you learned.
